If you’re a new bonus paying client, you can sign up for a £200 signing bonus.
This is the amount of money you’ll receive if you pay your bonus in full in the year you receive the bonus.
If you sign up in 2019, you’ll get £20,000.
If signed up in 2020, you’d get £22,000 for signing up the year before.
The bonus tax filing deadline is April 15th.
If your bonus doesn’t arrive by then, you might have to pay the bonus tax as part of the tax bill.
To avoid tax, it’s worth signing up early.
This means you won’t pay the tax in April 2019 and you’ll be eligible to claim the full £200 bonus tax.
If you’re in a situation where you’ve signed up and your bonus isn’t due to arrive until April 2019, then you might need to sign up later if you want the bonus to be payable.
However, you don’t have to wait for your bonus to arrive to claim your bonus.
You could claim your full bonus tax refund if your bonus is due in April 2020.
The sign up deadline is usually on April 15, but it might be earlier.
The tax filing date can change.
The Tax Office has a calculator for signing bonus taxes, so you can find out what you need to know before you sign.
