More than 50,000 people have signed up to volunteer to help the Ducks in the wake of the trade that sent Matt Hendricks to the Edmonton Oilers.

Matt Hendricks — Edmonton Oilers — DucksForward Matt Hendricks has been traded to the New York Rangers.
The trade also sent forward Kyle Palmieri to the Calgary Flames and defenseman Mark Pysyk to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Hendricks, 29, had one goal and nine assists for 12 points in 48 games for the Edmonton Oil Kings in 2015-16.
He scored a goal in seven games with Anaheim in 2014-15.
The 6-foot-4, 221-pound center played for the Dallas Stars from 2009-12.
Holland was a member of the Anaheim Ducks from 2010-14 and was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft.
He was traded to New York for defenseman John Gibson, forward Jyrki Jokipakka and a 2016 third-round draft pick.
Palmieri was traded in February to Dallas for defenseman Kyle Capuano and a second-round pick.
Hedman has eight goals and 26 points in 62 career NHL games.
