Bonus room to be added to your $300+ savings card offer in November for people who have diabetes, heart health issues, or a family history of heart disease, according to the American Diabetes Association.
You can sign up for the bonus room online, or you can call 1-888-345-4585 and speak to a representative at your local health department.
You’ll be charged a $5.99 initiation fee, but you can earn up to $500 per month for the first three months of the bonus.
If you have hypertension, diabetes, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, you’ll have to pay $4.99 per month.
If your blood sugar levels fall below a certain level, you can be charged an additional $10.99, but this will drop as your blood glucose level falls below that level.
Your diabetes provider can recommend blood glucose testing to see if you need treatment.
And you’ll need to take your diabetes medications and monitor your insulin.
If all else fails, you might get help from a medical professional.
The American Diabetes Federation recommends that you use a combination of blood pressure and cholesterol medications for your diabetes treatment, but it doesn’t recommend specific treatments.
People with certain risk factors, including those who have high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, or are over the age of 50, should also limit their blood sugar to between 110 and 120 mg/dL.
The AHA recommends that all Americans get at least $2,500 of their annual household income from work or an employer, or at least two thirds of it from a self-employed job.
